Old School Version Not Alexander's Pandora

P = Parenting versus Petitioning

Petitioning Pandora's Release From Exile

Come on in
I'll tell you a story
'Bout a girl that I once knew
And though she's gone
What matters now
Is if it's all true

For in this life
What causes pain and strife
Was locked away
So it could never stray
And the jail was called Pandora's box
And it's her that some still entirely blame

Jealousy and rage
Locked in a cage
Horror of all kinds
Terrors in our minds
Misery and sorrow
Hope for tomorrow
Freed by Pandora

But now that box
Has only broken locks
And the horrors once hid
Are now five empty walls with a lid
But it wasn't something Pandora actually undid
And according to some clocks

Someone else would have eventually come along and opened the box.
