Official Song - "Who Are You" The Who
Essay 1 - The Birth Certificate (Summary)
The United States of America authorized the appointment of legal guardians other than that of my bioogical origin in the legal court system while I was a fetus.
Therefore, if my government can approve of the grafting of a family together by agreeing and supporting the crafting of an entirely different birth certificate than the one originally issued, locking it in a vault somewhere and then issuing a completely different version than the first and then telling everyone that its okay to not say a word about the first Certificate of Birth, thereby creating a very special Bill of Attainder in which the records of the original source of the newly born individual now registered to someone else continues to cascade forward as well, running parallel and frequently contrary to the best interest of those who opt into the circumstances adoption presents.
With cries of life or death falling on deaf ears in the courtrooms, the pool of people vapidly vaporizing a spectrum of complex trust and/or respect associated with such a pursuit in the name of the almighty dollar pales in comparison to the sums of money that flows back and forth between a variety of industries all claiming to be worthy of trust and faith...
So I figure if my government can approve the first and second versions of my Birth Certificate, they won't mind one bit if I just go ahead and create a third one...
After all, it really comes down to what the public is willing to believe as to which piece of paper tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth...
Thankfully I was given names, but I have tried to imagine what its like for those who have no idea where they came from simply because all of the paperwork assigned to them leads to anywhere and everywhere but to the conclusive biological answer to the question "Who am I?"
With these three words posing one of the most intimate questions we have right to expect of ourselves to constantly ask ourselves and explore for our own sake, when there is question as to who one is as a unique identity...
Hell. Maybe I'll just create a fourth and fifth certificate just for demonstrative purposes...
